I am a Rugby News Writer for Planet Rugby and Love Rugby League, covering all aspects of English game and the NRL.
As part of my role with Love Rugby League, I have developed a particular focus on the West Yorkshire based Super League clubs and the England national team, and often attend press events and matches as a result.
Since starting with the company, I have covered Challenge Cup and Super League games live, with the highlight being Rob Burrow’s tribute match in 2024.
I started my journalism career in 2023 as a freelance rugby league writer while studying my Masters at Leeds Beckett University. As a freelancer, I wrote for leading rugby league publications Prost Rugby League, the League Express, Rugby League World Magazine and Forty-20. During the 2023 off-season, I decided to branch into rugby union and became a regular contributor to the Rugby Paper, Rugby Inside Line and the Last Word on Rugby while also creating my own site, Rugby Nause News.
I initially joined Planet Sport as a freelancer across both Planet Rugby and Love Rugby League, and later became a full-time member of staff.
I was born in London but following a family move I grew up in Devon in a small village outside of Exeter.
I am also a keen rugby union player and have represented Devon and Kent at county level and was also a part of the Exeter Chiefs academy.
