Wests Tigers forward Chris Heighington will have to wait until next week to find out the extent of his hand injury.

X-rays revealed Heighington suffered three broken bones in his left hand during the early stages of the 18-14 defeat to Brisbane on Friday night.

England international Heighington will need to see a specialist before he knows how long he will be sidelined.

Meanwhile, prop Matt Groat is in doubt for the Tigers round seven clash at Penrith next Sunday after suffering concussion in a hit from Brisbane forward Ben Te’o.
