Has Reece Walsh produced the greatest-ever conversion?

Reece Walsh produced arguably the greatest-ever conversion on Sunday during Brisbane Broncos’ NRL pre-season trial match against Gold Coast Titans.

Much to the delight, and somewhat surprise, to the pundits and fans alike, Walsh kicked the conversion to extend his side’s lead to 18-6 before the break.

Walsh, 20, returned to Brisbane during the off-season from New Zealand Warriors on a three-year deal.

He was named at full-back for the club’s trial match, and opened the scoring just five minutes in at the Sunshine Coast Stadium.

Samoa international Martin Taupau also made his first appearance for the Broncos from the interchange bench.
