Warrington to confirm triple signing

Warrington are set to confirm the prized capture of Salford scrum half Richie Myler.

Myler, 19, will join the Wolves this week for a fee in excess of £200,000, making him the most expensive teenager in rugby league.

The scrum half will be unveiled at the Halliwell Jones Stadium alongside Ryan Atkins and David Solomona at a press conference today.

Atkins joins for an undisclosed fee from Wakefield while Solomona was out of contract at Bradford.

Myler only has 18 Super League appearances to his name, but burst on to the scene at Salford last season after moving there from Widnes.

Salford director of football Steve Simms said: “It made both good football and business sense to let Richie go.

“Warrington were able to offer the player a startling contract and transfer fee for somebody who has only played a handful of games at this level.”

Myler was under contract at Salford until the end of 2010.
