Wigan forward Taulima Tautai has been handed a three-match suspension.

The Warriors front-rower has been charged for Grade C contrary behaviour by the match review panel after appearing to kick out in a tackle against Ukuma Ta’ai last Friday.

The incident resulted in him being sent to the sin bin at the time and he will now miss Wigan’s upcoming games against Warrington Wolves, Salford Red Devils and Catalans Dragons, subject to appeal.

Tautai’s team-mates – Tony Clubb and Willie Isa – have received Grade A dangerous contact charges but will not be banned.

Elsewhere, North Wales Crusaders winger Dave Eccleston has been charged with a Grade C dangerous throw and has been given a two-match suspension.

Catalans Dragons star Kenny Edwards and Leeds Rhinos ace Konrad Hurrell have been cautioned by the match review panel over dangerous contact challenges, while Salford front-rower Ben Nakubuwai has been cautioned over a dangerous throw.
