All the results are in from the opening round of the Challenge Cup, confirming the fixtures for the second round due to be played weekend of February 25-26.

Dublin City Exiles created history by becoming the first-ever Irish team to win a Challenge Cup tie. The side claimed a 42-8 victory over Hammersmith Hill Hoists on Saturday.

They were crowned All Ireland Premiership champions in 2022, defeating Longhorns in the Grand Final in July.

It is the first time in 20 years that the Dublin name has featured in rugby league’s oldest competition.

League 1 clubs will enter the competition at this stage alongside 10 teams from the National Conference League Premier Division.

Having defeated the British Army 28-12, Ashton Bears will host Dewsbury Rams, who suffered relegation from the Championship in 2022.

Hull Dockers will host Midlands Hurricanes following their 54-10 win over Rhondda Outlaws.

Workington Town will host Ince Rose Bridge, while there is an all-League 1 tie between Rochdale Hornets and London Skolars. Likewise, Doncaster will face Oldham.

Elsewhere, North Wales Crusaders will host the Royal Navy

Entering the prestigious cup competition for the first time, Cornwall will host National Conference League Premier Division outfit Rochdale Mayfield.

In the final game of the opening round, Myton Warriors secured their place in the second round with a 40-26 victory over Jarrow Vikings. They will host Leigh Miners Rangers in round two.
