Former internationals Braith Anasta and Jason Croker will make returns to their NRL clubs to play in the Auckland Nines.

Anasta will suit up for the Sydney Roosters while Croker will wear the green of Canberra.

Anasta, who retired in 2014, made 147 appearances for the Roosters. The 34-year old is now a TV commentator.

Croker retired from Catalans in 2009 and spent 16 seasons with the Raiders. The 43-year old made more 300 apperances for the Green Machine.

Croker will be the oldest player to turn out at the Nines, with 41-year olds Brad Fittler and Ken Nagas previously playing in the competition.
