Watch: Tom Johnstone’s freakish finish against Castleford

Drew Darbyshire

Wakefield winger Tom Johnstone left both fans stunned with an acrobatic try in their defeat at Castleford.

The 24-year-old produced the incredible finish midway through the first half in Trinity’s 32-15 defeat to the Tigers on Friday night.

Johnstone’s side led 15-14 at the break but a clinical second half display saw Castleford claim the bragging rights at the Mend-A-Hose Jungle.

The England international is known for his supreme try scoring ability and with him having suffered a season-ending injury this time last year, it’s safe to say he is well and truly back to his best.

Elsewhere, Warrington recorded their second win of the season with a 32-22 victory over Toronto.

And Huddersfield are now the only team left in Super League to have a 100% record in 2020 after they won 22-4 at Hull KR.
