Trinity trio in fitness battle

Wakefield’s Bill Tupou, Mikey Sio and Jonny Molloy are in doubt to be fit to play in the Challenge Cup semi-final after picking up injuries against Castleford.

Tupou injured a hamstring, Sio has a sternum complaint and Molloy hurt a pectoral muscle in the 20-46 loss.

All three are in a race to recover for Saturday’s Cup clash with Warrington.

Wakefield will have Scott Moore back from suspension and could also have Danny Kirkmond, Ben Jones-Bishop and Scott Anderson could also return from injury.

Winger Tom Johnstone and forward Micka Simon will miss the semi-final.
