Today’s Kingstone Press Championships round-up

There were wins for Leigh, Featherstone Rovers, Halifax, Keighley and Workington on a sun-soaked day of Championship action.

Featherstone remain second in the table after a tight 18-12 victory over Batley, while Halifax are still only a point behind Rovers after they won 50-18 at home to Whitehaven.

Meanwhile in Championship One, second-placed Oldham won 22-4 away at Oxford and Hemel moved up to third with a 38-18 win over Rochdale.

In the day’s other Championship One matches London Skolars overcame Gateshead while bottom-side Gloucestershire got their second win of the season by beating South Wales at home.
