Robert Elstone welcomes Toronto Wolfpack to Super League

Super League chief executive Robert Elstone “thoroughly recommends” the Toronto Wolfpack experience to all fans of the game.

The Wolfpack will take part in Super League next season after beating Featherstone in the Championship Grand Final in front of a capacity crowd of almost 10,000 at the Lamport Stadium in Canada.

Toronto only began playing in League 1 in 2017 but they have reached the top-flight in just three seasons, and Elstone believes all fans would enjoy a trip to Toronto.

Elstone said: “In our relentless pursuit of making Super League great, there’s lots we’re working on for 2020, not least a brave and exciting new world in North America.

“Just like everyone I’ve spoken to about it, I can thoroughly recommend the Wolfpack experience: a great welcome, a special matchday and an amazing city.

“Welcome Toronto Wolfpack to Super League.”
