England Students international Jason Bass has signed a new deal with York for the 2020 season.

The 23-year-old arrived at the Knights last November after playing more than 60 games for Coventry.

Bass has made 21 appearances for York to date, scoring seven tries from the wing, centre and full-back positions.

Knights coach James Ford said: “Jason has shown an immense amount of commitment, work ethic and potential in his first year at York.

“He’s played in numerous positions to a high standard and we believe the best of Jason Bass is still to be seen.

“He’s made a positive impact on and off the field and I’m delighted to re-sign a young player with his potential.”
