Six players are set to make their Leeds and Warrington debuts in Saturday’s Super League showdown which will be the first game shown live on Channel 4.

Leeds coach Richard Agar has included three of his four off-season signings Aidan Sezer, James Bentley and David Fusitu’a in his squad for their Super League opener.

The club’s fourth recruit, Blake Austin, will miss the game against his froemr club after being given a one-match suspension by the Rugby Football League’s match review panel.

Rhinos prop Matt Prior will make his 300th career appearances in the lunchtime kick-off at Headingley on Saturday. Kruise Leeming will captain Leeds for the first time.

Leeds full-back Jack Walker could make his first Super League appearance since November 2020. He missed all of last season through injury. Harry Newman is also named in Agar’s squad as the Rhinos give the young centre as much time as possible to prove his fitness before round one.
