Workington bring in utility from Coventry

Workington have signed utility-back Elliot Hall on a two-year deal from Coventry.

The full-back or winger scored 17 tries and kicked 12 goals in 20 appearances for the Bears in League 1 last season.

Workington coach Chris Thorman said: “Elliot is someone that has been on our radar for a while now.

“I was very impressed with his performance against us when Coventry defeated us earlier in the year.

“His try scoring record for Coventry was excellent last season with a number of man of the match performances. He is equally at home at full-back or on the wing.

“At times last season we lacked a bit of pace in our backs and Elliot has that in abundance. I’m looking forward to working with him and seeing him fulfil his massive potential with us.”
