Wigan could be without prop forward Brad Singleton for the rest of their Super League clash with Warrington at the Halliwell Jones Stadium.

Singleton, 30, left the field less than five minutes into the Round Nine tie, struggling with a knee issue.

He was left behind the play as the visitors opened the scoring through centre Jake Wardle, with Harry Smith linking up with Bevan French in the build-up.

Half-back Smith couldn’t convert the try, with a 4-0 lead.

Sky Sports pundit Jon Wells has reported that Singleton has suffered a suspected lower right leg injury, having gone straight down the tunnel.

Singleton has featured in all but one of Wigan’s games so far in 2023.

He was replaced by Ethan Havard as Wigan remain 4-0 up.

The Warriors will be without international prop Mike Cooper for the rest of the 2023 season with a knee injury. The 34-year-old was forced from the field during the side’s Good Friday derby victory over St Helens.

Meanwhile, Warrington youngster Lucas Green has entered the field for his official debut from the bench on home soil.
