Widnes have signed prop Levy Nzoungou from Bradford for the 2022 season.

The 23-year-old came through the ranks at St Helens and has had a taste of Super League action with Salford and Hull.

Nzoungou, who also enjoyed spells with Melbourne Storm and Toulouse earlier in his career, has spent the past two seasons in the Championship with Bradford.

On joining Widnes, Nzoungou said: “I’ve heard a lot about the fan base and I’m very excited to be back playing with some familiar faces.

“It’s an exciting challenge! When my agent made me aware Widnes had an interest, without doubt I jumped at the opportunity straight away. I can’t wait to start training and meet the boys and the staff.”

The Congo-born forward, who played for Albi in the French Elite Championship in 2019, has made more than 50 career appearances to date.
