Warrington have announced there will only be one stand open for their pre-season friendly against Salford on Friday night.

The club have said only the North Stand will be open for the match, following the decision to close the East Stand on Wednesday.

The club had already decided to close the South and West Stands for the game. Initially, Wire fans were going to be allocated the North-East and East Stand for the game, while Salford took the North-West corner.

Confirming the news, the club said in a statement:” The Sunbelt Rentals East Stand will now be closed for Lee Mossop’s testimonial game – Salford Red Devils vs Warrington Wolves this Friday at The Halliwell Jones Stadium, 7.45pm KO.

“Supporters that have purchased tickets in the East Stand will now be moved to unreserved seating in Block I in the North Stand.Your same ticket will be valid, however you will be directed to use North-East Corner turnstiles of the stadium. Turnstiles will open from 6.30pm.

“We thank you for your co-operation in this matter and hope you enjoy the game.”
