Toronto’s Blake Wallace wants to help the Wolfpack achieve their Super League dream, but he still harbours hopes of playing in the NRL one day.

The Australian is part of the Toronto squad who are sweeping all before them in League 1 and Wallace is delighted with the progress the club is making.

“It is a special feeling being a part of history with this club,” Wallace told the Morning Bulletin.

“To be able to travel and play the game I love in different countries unreal. It is so cool to see the people of Toronto come out and support us, especially not being too familiar with the game.

“I really feel like this club is going places and I really believe we have the potential to get into the Super League.”

One of Wallace’s teammates is ex-Parramatta Eels player Fuifui Moimoi, and he admits it’s a pleasure playing alongside the veteran Tongan.

“We are like one big family here – the boys in the team are a really good bunch of lads and I love both training and playing with them,” added Wallace.

“Fui is just like a big kid, always playing jokes on the boys and having a laugh but he brings to much to the team in terms of experience.

“He has done it all, so it’s great to have him around.

“I’d still love to play NRL one day, but right now I just want to play well week-to-week and improve for the team.

“I am really excited to see what the next two years bring.”
