Trio sign up with Barrow for 2020

Perry Singleton, Dan Toal and Bradd Crellin have signed one-year deals with Barrow for 2020.

Centre or back-rower Singleton was released by Workington last week due to work commitments – but his schedule allows him to play for the Raiders.

Ex-Ulverston forward Toal has been at Barrow since 2012 and has made 167 appearances for the club so far, scoring 55 tries.

Millom man Crellin will enter his sixth season with the Raiders in 2020, having already played 71 games for the Cumbrian club.

In a statement released by Barrow, it read: “With a young family and work commitments, Perry was unable to commit the necessary hours for Town but he is fully committed to his hometown’s [Barrow] cause.

“Perry has starred in the centre but his versatility provides cover also in the back-row of the pack.

“Dan’s signing was slightly delayed as the club needed confirmation that a niggling injury was nothing serious but Dan has been given the green light for the season ahead.

“Bradd’s stats are always high when he is on the field and he does mountains of carries, tackles and support runs to prove how valuable he is.”
