Team news: Papua New Guinea v Great Britain (Sat)

Great Britain have named an unchanged team for Saturday’s test in Papua New Guinea.

Wayne Bennett hasn’t made any changes to his Lions outfit that lost to New Zealand in Christchurch last weekend. Leeds’ winger Ash Handley is absent, despite being a recent call-up.

Joe Philbin and Zak Hardaker have been named in Great Britain’s reserves, along with half-back duo George Williams and Jake Trueman, who are yet to feature on the tour.

Papua New Guinea coach Michael Marum has made two changes to his Kumuls outfit that lost to Fiji last time out. David Mead and Garry Lo come in for Enock Maki and Terry Wapi.

The international takes place at the Oil Search National Football Stadium in Port Moresby on Saturday, 07:30am kick-off (GMT).

Papua New Guinea: Johnston; Gebbie, Mead, Olam, Amean; Laybutt, W Boas; W Albert, Puara, Page; Putt, Russell, Martin. Subs: Ipape, Lo, S Albert, Meninga. Reserves: Talita, Maki, Wapi.

Great Britain: Lomax; McGillvary, Hughes, Connor, Austin; Widdop, Hastings; Hill, Hodgson, T Burgess, Bateman, Whitehead, Graham. Subs: Jones, Thompson, Clark, Walmsley. Reserves: Philbin, Williams, Trueman, Hardaker.
