Tommy Johnson, Warren Thompson and Kieran Sherratt have committed their futures to North Wales for the 2020 season.

Full-back Johnson is currently second in Crusaders’ list of all-time appearances on 166 but he missed all of 2019 through injury.

Forward Thompson has been at the Crusaders since 2017, while prop Sherratt joins from fellow League 1 side Coventry.

Crusaders coach Anthony Murray said: “Tommy is always reliable at fullback and has been a key part of the side for many years.

“It’ll be great to see a fit Tommy Johnson available again in 2020 and it could end up feeling like a brand new signing.

“Warren was outstanding in 2019 and that’s the reason myself and the rest of the coaching staff picked him as our player of the season.

“Kieran has been one of Coventry’s stand-out players over the last couple of seasons.”
