Toronto Wolfpack have announced their first signings for the 2017 season in Wakefield centre Craig Hall and Leigh winger Liam Kay.

Hall has had spells at Hull FC, Hull KR and Wakefield, who he joined in 2015.

“I’m really excited about being part of a new and exciting rugby league adventure,” Hall said.

“I’m fully committed to do everything possible to make it a successful one.”

Toronto coach Paul Rowley said: “I have been a big fan of Craig for several years and indeed failed in attempts to sign him previously, so I am delighted that a player who never fails to entertain will be joining the team.”

Liam Kay has been a standout at Championship leading side Leigh Centurions, where he worked with Wolfpack head coach Rowley.

“Liam was keen to join the Wolfpack, as myself and Liam already have a very strong working relationship and mutual respect,” Rowley said.

“When I learned of his interest it was a no brainier to get his signature, knowing how much he binds a group together through his strength of character, and also his obvious talent, and determined attitude to winning.”

Liam said: “After hearing the aspirations and passion from Paul, I was sold immediately.”
