Top six wingers in 2020 Super League season

We have taken a look at six of the best wingers in the 2020 Super League season.

Ash Handley (Leeds Rhinos)

The 24-year-old enjoyed his best season to date in 2020, scoring 20 tries 19 appearances for the Rhinos while providing five assists. Handley’s carries out of yardage are very impressive, with him boasting an average gain of 9.85 metres per carry. He also made 24 clean breaks as he helped Leeds win the Challenge Cup.

Regan Grace (St Helens)

The Welshman gets better year on year. He scored 11 tries in 20 games for Saints this term, while playing a key role in their Grand Final success. Grace made 20 clean breaks in Super League and had 66 tackle busts to his name.

Krisnan Inu (Salford Red Devils)

The former New Zealand and Samoa international enjoyed a stellar season for Salford, scoring 12 tries and kicking 41 goals in 12 appearances. Inu is a fantastic goal kicker and helped the Red Devils reach the Challenge Cup final at Wembley. He had an average metre gain of 8.41.

Tom Davies (Catalans Dragons)

The England Knights international had a fantastic debut season in the south of France, having scored 13 tries in 11 matches for Catalans. Davies built up a good partnership with his centre partner Israel Folau and Davies has one of the highest work rates in Super League.

Ben Crooks (Hull KR)

Crooks was a highlight for the Robins in 2020, with the winger scoring 11 tries in 12 games. Crooks made 19 clean breaks and had 69 tackle busts to his name as well as having an average gain of 8.3 metres per carry. It was an impressive season from the 27-year-old.

Tom Johnstone (Wakefield Trinity)

The 25-year-old was in good form this year, scoring nine tries in 14 appearances for Wakefield. Johnstone also made nine clean breaks and bust 54 tackles, making him one of Super League’s standout wingers in 2020.
