Togetherness the key for Hull KR

Australian prop Mick Weyman has issued a rallying call to his teammates, as the Robins continue their search for a Super League win in 2014.

Last Friday Rovers were unlucky to go down 34-20 at champions Wigan, and Weyman wants his side to build on that performance when they take on Bradford this Sunday.

“We just need to stick together,” said Weyman. “Things always turn and every club goes through it in every sport.

“The main thing is that you come out of the other side. The beauty of our squad is that we are staying strong and we know we will come through it.”

The round 6 clash with the Bulls looks set to be a key early battle in a season where the threat of relegation is hanging over the head of clubs towards the bottom of the table.

Craig Sandercock’s side will not be fazed according to Weyman, and the ex-St George man says he is looking forward to the atmosphere at the KC Lightstream Stadium:

“Our supporters are the best I’ve seen, and the best I’ve been involved with.

“The support they give to the team and the atmosphere they create is unbelievable, and certainly one of a kind.”
