Akuila Uate is set to make his Super League debut on Friday, while Ken Sio and Gil Dudson could make their official debuts for Salford.

Huddersfield Giants coach Simon Woolford is set to hand Fiji international Uate his Super League debut on Friday, alongside fellow new recruit Matt Frawley.

Giants’ winger Jermaine McGillvary is ruled out through injury and youngster Innes Senior could take his spot. Joe Wardle could make his second debut for Huddersfield.

Salford Red Devils coach Ian Watson is expected to hand Sio and Wales international Dudson their competitive debuts.
