Swinton winger Ryan Gray has signed a new one-year deal with the club.

The 21-year-old joined the Lions towards at the end of the 2018 season from amateur side Leigh East, making five appearances for Stuart Littler’s side.

Swinton coach Stuart Littler said: “It is great news that Ryan has agreed to stay on with us.

“I know Ryan struggled with appearances last year, but some of this was due to untimely illnesses and injury.

“Ryan is a good kid from a good family and brings with him some good values.

“He has never been any trouble and is still keen to progress and learn. The challenge for Ryan is to nail down a place in our side. We will support him fully in the pursuit of a jersey.”
