Bradford are hoping to sign a further six players for their Championship squad in 2020, as revealed in a fans Q&A on Wednesday night.

Another turbulent winter off the field has seen a number of key players depart Odsal, including Ethan Ryan, Jake Webster, Matty Wildie, Elliot Minchella and Jy Hitchcox.

Five of the club’s most promising youngsters also left to follow Ryan to Hull KR, though Rowan Milnes will return on loan.

The club said: “We can report that there are no players that have been signed or resigned, however, we are hoping to bring another six new players in.

“We think competing for Super League is definitely achievable. If you look at the size of our club then we would be a top 6 club in British Rugby League. That is definitely the objective, but it will come down to quality of the management, so a sustainable Super League club is a perfectly reasonable objective.

“It is not our job to pass comment about past management. We haven’t the time really. We will work tirelessly trying to recover the position of the club and will expend all our energy looking forward.”

The wide-ranging Q&A covered a number of fans questions, including about debt, ownership and season tickets.
