There is a must-watch documentary on Sky Sports tonight. Stevie Ward – Living With Concussion airs on Sky Sports Main Event and Mix at 5:30pm.

The former Leeds captain explores the physical and mental battles he has faced from concussion in his new documentary.

 

David Fusitu’a update

There is an update on when Leeds’ new recruit David Fusitu’a is due at pre-season training with the Rhinos. (Yorkshire Evening Post)

The Tonga international is still waiting for his visa, according to the Yorkshire Evening Post. He could play in their Boxing Day clash with Wakefield.

Cade Cust coup

It seems as though Wigan have pulled off a major coup in landing Australian half-back Cade Cust.

There is a piece in the Manchester Evening News which is an overall reaction from Manly fans, who are gutted he has left the club. The 23-year-old made 26 NRL appearances for the Sea Eagles and played for the Indigenous All Stars last year.

Joey Lussick en route

New St Helens signing Joey Lussick is on his way to England to link up with his new club for pre-season training.

The 25-year-old hooker has joined the Super League champions on a three-year deal from NRL side Parramatta Eels. Saints announced their squad numbers yesterday, with Lussick wearing the number 14 shirt.

New Summer Bash venue

The RFL confirmed at the weekend that Blackpool’s Bloomfield Road would not host the Championship event for the first time. Leeds are strong favourites to host the Summer Bash in 2022.

Jake Connor injury update

Hull full-back Jake Connor has given an injury update after having an off-season operation. (Hull Daily Mail)

He told the Hull Daily Mail: “I just had a clean out and a bit of meniscus stuff. I had a meniscus issue so we sorted that out and that will be a few more weeks yet. It’s not too bad, I should be back before Christmas.”
