Playmaker Steven Roper has agreed a new deal with North Wales for the 2020 campaign.

The half-back scored four tries in 21 appearances for the Crusaders last term.

Roper said: “It was really good to be back enjoying my rugby again last season.

“I’ve loved my time at the club so far and I’m pleased to be on board for next season.

“It was a shame I missed the last game of the season through a rib injury because I’d played in every match up until that point. I want to carry that on next season and hopefully help the team get into the play-off places.

“We came so close last season and I think we’re in a really good position now to kick on.”
