Steve Menzies has been called up into Daniel Anderson’s Exiles squad.

Menzies will come into the squad after the Exiles lost to England 18-10 in the previous match at Langtree Park.

The former Australian international is has received 15 caps, while appearing for New South Wales on 20 occasions.

Exiles coach Daniel Anderson says he is looking to being in different players following the opening defeat.

He said: “We got a lot of positives from the first game and we think we can win at the Galpharm next week.

“We’ve been able to consider more players this time, so we’ll be looking to bring in some fresh faces. To have a player of the calibre and experience of Steve Menzies available to us undoubtedly increases our options.

“Naming him in the squad just demonstrates how committed we are to both building the Exiles as an enterprise and to winning this match against England and drawing the series.”

Anderson will name a full revised Exiles squad on Thursday, ahead of the match on Wednesday, July 4.
