St Helens to face Leeds in Women’s Super League Grand Final

St Helens will meet Leeds in the Women’s Super League Grand Final at Headingley on October 10.

St Helens have already won the Challenge Cup and the League Leaders’ Shield this year and are on course for the treble thanks to an emphatic 58-0 win over Castleford.

Carrie Roberts, Paige Travis (2), Tara Jones (2), Jodie Cunningham (2), Leah Burke (3), Chantelle Crowl and Rachel Woosey all scored for Saints, with Zoe Harris kicking five goals.

Meanwhile, defending champions Leeds edged past York 22-18 in a tight affair.

The Knights led 14-4 at the break but the Rhinos managed to perform a second half comeback thanks to tries from Courtney Winfield-Hill and Sophie Nuttall (2).

There will be a women’s double header at Headingley on October 10, with the Women’s Super League Shield final between Featherstone and Huddersfield taking place at 12pm followed by the Grand Final at 3pm.
