Set of Six with Ollie Roberts: Playing against Iafeta Paleaaesina in Under-20s was the worst

Drew Darbyshire

Ireland and Salford forward Ollie Roberts is our latest guest on My Set of Six.

We’re asking you, the fans, plus players, coaches and other rugby league personalities to give us their answers to our set of six questions.

Favourite away ground?

The DW Stadium, Wigan. It’s always buzzing.

Favourite player?

It has to be Micky McIlorum.

Favourite memory?

It has got to be playing for Ireland in the 2017 World Cup over in Australia.

Worst memory?

When I was playing for Bradford’s Under-20s and we kicked off away from Iafeta Paleaaesina and the wind caught the ball and sent it straight into his hands and we had to tackle him off the back line!

Best match you’ve seen?

Watching my good pal John Bateman at Old Trafford and him getting the win and lifting the trophy.

Your wish for the future of rugby league?

To get back out on the field as soon as possible with the boys and staying out there and having a good end to the season. We want to build for next year and do something serious.
