Toulouse back-rower Pierre-Jean Lima has signed a new one-year deal with the club.

The 19-year-old has made four first-team appearances for the French club to date. He is the son of former Toulouse and Samoa player Peter Lima.

Lima said: “I am proud to be here today because it took a lot of sacrifices.

“I am very happy to be able to evolve in this environment and show what I am worth, with the objective of playing as many matches as possible.”

Toulouse president Bernard Sarrazain said: “It’s hard not to be proud of the way Pierre-Jean arrived in to the professional group.

“This signature rewards all his efforts and demonstrates the quality of our training.”
