Nick Youngquest announces retirement

Nick Youngquest has announced his retirement at the end of the current season.

The 28-year old joined the Tigers from Crusaders at the end of 2010. He has made appearances for Gateshead Thunder after spells at St George Illawarra, Penrith Panthers and Canterbury Bulldogs.

Youngquest said: “I’m going to retire from professional rugby at the end of the season. It’s been good while it lasted.

“I’ve had an unreal time playing rugby, met some great people and made life-long friends. So thanks to everyone for the memories.”

Youngquest has in the past modelled for Abercrombie & Fitch, a shop on New York’s Fifth Avenue, and the magazine Attitude.
