New York contract for Will Jubb
York have given hooker Will Jubb a new one-year deal.
The 23-year-old has made 43 appearances for the Knights since arriving from Hull KR ahead of the 2018 season.
York coach James Ford said: “I’m delighted with Will’s progress, his drive to improve and maximise his potential is inspiring for us all.
“His skill and deception around the ruck is outstanding and we were all pleased with his defensive intent too.
“We all really enjoy working with Will and I’m very confident we have yet to see him at his very best.
“I’d like to thank the efforts of our supporters and specifically squad-builder for their hard work and continuing commitment, which is enabling us to plan and build for what will hopefully be another successful season.”
