Moore not given Wakefield squad number

Hooker Scott Moore has not been a given a squad number for Wakefield for the 2017 season.

Speculation is growing that Moore’s contract with Trinity is set to be terminated after his arrest for assault.

Wakefield have not commented on Moore’s contract status or future at the club.

Love Rugby League understands the 28-year old is looking for a deal in the Championship.

New signing Kyle Wood has been awarded the number 9 shirt. Mikey Sio, who can play in the back-row and at hooker, has 13.

Back-up hooker Bradley Moules has been given the number 29.
