Bradford coach James Lowes believes that his team still have a chance of securing a Super League spot, despite their heavy defeat to Widnes at the weekend.

The Bulls lost 56-12 to the Vikings at Odsal, and Lowes felt that his team will have learned from the heavy defeat as they prepare for their next game, against Hull KR.

“They are a Super League club, they are a good side and they have has some real strong characters,” Lowes said about Widnes, speaking to his club’s official website.

“We are educating ourselves as we go along.

“I am disappointed with the loss but we are still in a decent position.

“I am not going to throw the towel in now.”
