Sheffield Eagles and London Broncos have united to encourage as big an attendance as possible with an unbelievable ticket offer ahead of the team’s massive clash in the Tetley’s Challenge Cup.

The Quarter Final tie between the Eagles and Broncos takes place on Friday 12th July (kick off 8.00pm) at Don Valley Stadium.

Tickets go on sale from 9am tomorrow until midnight on Sunday 7th July for just £8 for Adults, £5 for Over 60’s and just £3 for Students. All junior season ticket holders are free of charge and for any other under 16 the price is just £3

Eagles Chief Executive Mark Aston said, “This is an incredible offer not just for Eagles and Broncos supporters but for all rugby league fans.”

“We know times are tough for many people at the moment and so these great ticket prices give everyone the chance to come down to the Don Valley Stadium and watch what I’m sure will be a fantastic game of rugby league.”

With Don Valley closing at the end of the year, the Broncos will be the last Super League side to visit the Stadium and the final ever Challenge Cup game to be played here so it’s a game not to be missed.”

“It’s a vital game for both clubs, with a semi final spot at stake, one step away from Wembley which would be a massive achievement for both teams.”

“Its 15 years since we upset the odds with a famous win at Wembley against Wigan in 1998 and whilst we are underdogs again, everyone knows anything is possible in the Challenge Cup.”

“As well as urging Eagles and Broncos supporters fans to show up in large numbers, let’s urge the rest of Sheffield and Yorkshire to get down and show rugby league is well and truly alive in the steel city.”

“We will be running a number of promotional events throughout the city in the build-up, backed up with further advertisements to encourage the city to get behind us for this match.”

“With Huddersfield away at Warrington, we are the last Yorkshire side in the competition at home and so it would be a great chance for Rhinos, Bulls, Wildcats and Tigers fans, along with other rugby league supporters to get down and show the country that the Challenge Cup is still an extraordinary, showcase competition in the sport.”

“Our key message is you can pre-buy your ticket until midnight, Sunday 7th July for this huge clash for just £8 for Adults £5 for Over 60s and just £3 for Students and Under 16’s who don’t have a season ticket. Spread the word, get buying and let’s see if we can get a great crowd down at Don Valley once again.”

London Broncos Chief Executive Gus Mackay backed the cut price ticketing plan and said, “This is a big game for us and I urge our fans to support the team by getting to this game.

“We’ve agreed a fantastic offer for a rugby league game between Super League and Championship opposition and we hope that Sheffield Eagles, London Broncos and general rugby league fans support this game.”
