Leigh owner Derek Beaumont has made special gesture to Kevin Sinfield’s marathon challenge in support of Rob Burrow with a £6,000 donation.
The Centurions owner helped take Sinfield’s marathon challenge fundraising total over the £777,777 mark with his kind gesture on Sunday.
Beaumont said: “What a man, what a charity and what an amazing support of unity from the game of rugby league.
“The £1,000 I donated doesn’t do it justice. This makes it cover that for each day! Boom, £777,777 done.”
Sinfield’s fundraising efforts for the Motor Neurone Disease Association have since passed £1million.
Sinfield is raising money in support of his former Rhinos colleague Rob Burrow, who is fighting the disease. His original target was £77,777.

Big thumbs up to all who contributed to this and a double thumbs up to Derek.
I will donate £50. It is in memory of my wife who died of MND almost 20 years ago and in memory of Leeds Rhinos’ great team led by Kevin Sinfield for so many years. I watched so many great performances (fellow Yorkshireman)
