Warrington half-back Kevin Brown has joined Leigh on loan until the end of the 2019 season.

Brown, 34, has not played for the Wolves this year after sustaining an Achilles injury in pre-season training.

The former England international’s signing signing was registered with the Rugby Football League prior to last Friday’s transfer deadline which makes him available for all Leigh’s remaining Championship and play-off fixtures.

Warrington chief executive, Karl Fitzpatrick, said: “We would like to thank Kev for his services to the club both on and off the field during his time with us, and for his recent professionalism while out through long-term injury.

“During his time on the sidelines he has continued to be an important part of our squad, supporting the playing group with his vast playing experience within the game. We all wish him well.”
