Tuoyo Egodo returns to London

London have re-signed academy product Tuoyo Egodo from Castleford on a two-year deal from 2020.

Egodo, 22, left the Broncos in 2016 to join Castleford and he spent time on loan at Hemel, Oldham, York, Newcastle and Bradford before breaking into the first-team at the Tigers.

The centre has made 15 appearances for Castleford to date, scoring 11 tries.

Egodo said: “I’m really excited to get back to London and join the Broncos again.

“It’s an opportunity to be close to family and friends and something I just couldn’t pass up on.

“I’d like to say thanks to the coaches, players and staff at Castleford who I have learnt a lot from and have helped me become the player I am today. I would also like to say a big thank you to the Castleford fans for their continuous support over the years.

“I look forward to wearing the Broncos jersey again and getting started for the 2020 season.”

London coach Danny Ward added: “We are pleased Tuoyo has joined us back at the Broncos from next season.”

“He is a player who came through our junior system, have all worked with before and so know what he can bring to the group.”

“It has been good for him to move away, get out of his comfort zone, work with different coaches and mature as a player and a person.”

“Although he’s not done himself any favours scoring loads of tries against us in the last month, we won’t hold that against him and look forward to help continue his development.”
