Jake Emmitt charged with abusing match offical

Leigh forward Jake Emmitt has been charged with Grade C abusive language towards a match official in the 79th minute of the Championship fixture against Batley Bulldogs on Sunday April 26.

Emmitt was charged after the incident was considered by the RFL Match Review Panel and has until 11am on Tuesday May 5 to submit an Early Guilty Plea (EGP).

There were no other charges from Championship or League 1 fixtures played last weekend.
