Jack Holmes has committed to North Wales Crusaders for next season.

Holmes made his Crusaders debut in their Challenge Cup win at Rochdale Mayfield, but that turned out to be his last appearance for the club as the season was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Holmes said: “I’m really pleased to sign as I enjoyed the time I had with Crusaders before we had to stop.

“We had a really good pre-season and things were going well, but then I broke my hand so I only made the one appearance.

“I’m really excited to get going again next season as I feel we’re building a good squad here.

“We all know the systems Muzza (Anthony Murray, Crusaders coach) wants us to play so we’ll all be raring to go in pre-season ahead of the new campaign.

“I’ve experienced promotion at this level before and featured in many play-off games so hopefully that can help the squad moving forward.”
