Hull KR forward Jamie Langley will undergo head tests during the week to prove his fitness for Friday night’s game against Castleford.

Langley, 30, was stretchered off just before half-time in the 24-all draw with Huddersfield on Sunday.

Coach Craig Sandercock said: “Jamie was knocked out and the doctor was very concerned so ruled him out for the rest of the game.

“He’ll have to pass the appropriate COG (head) tests during the week to see if he’ll be okay for the Friday night.”

Langley was only making his second appearance for the club after joining from Bradford in the close season.

Winger Ben Cockayne also left the field early in the game, but came back having had several stitches in a cheek wound.

Rovers completed a remarkable comeback to earn a point at the John Smith’s Stadium, recovering from a 24-6 deficit, scoring two tries in the final four minutes, with Travis Burns‘ conversion after the hooter tying the scores.
