James Donaldson and Mitch Allgood will be added to Hull KR’s burgeoning casualty ward after picking up injuries in the 38-8 defeat to Warrington.

Donaldson was forced off with an arm complaint while Mitch Allgood injured a thumb. The Robins already have Josh Mantellato, Terry Campese, Shaun Lunt and Kevin Larroyer out, with John Boudebza suspended.

“Donaldson’s wrist, it doesn’t look good,” Hull KR coach Chris Chester said after the game.

“An unfortunate incident. Looks like he could have broken his wrist. The depth of the squad is really getting tested.

“Mitch Allgood has hurt his thumb, he’ll go for a precautionary X-Ray. We’re doing it tough.

“We’ve got to make sure we stick together. We should get some bodies back in the next three to four weeks.”

Hull KR struggled to handle Warrington’s attack and break through their impressive defence.

Chester was pleased with his team’s attitude despite the loss.

“The scoreline just blew away in the last six, seven minutes,” he said.

“We’re very disappointed with the result but I’m proud of the boys’ effort.

“We’ve just got to stick to what we believe in.”
