Hull derby pirch invasion to be investigated

The RFL have announced that the pitch invasion at last week’s derby between Hull FC and Hull KR is set for an official investigation.

A statement from the governing body reads:

“An investigation is underway in to the circumstances surrounding the pitch incursion at the end of the First Utility Super League match between Hull KR and Hull FC.

“The incident happened on Thursday July 17 at the KC Lightstream Stadium.”
