Headingley to host Challenge Cup quarter-finals

Headingley has been chosen to host all four Betfred Challenge Cup quarter-finals, the Rugby Football League has announced.

The Catalans Dragons v Warrington and St Helens v Huddersfield ties will be played on Friday May 7 and broadcast by Sky Sports. The BBC will show Hull v Wigan and Castleford v Salford the following day.

RFL chief commercial officer Mark Foster said: “Like last year, all quarter-final matches are being played at a neutral venue, based on availability and suitability.

“In this case, Emerald Headingley Stadium offers a perfect venue for what promises to be an exciting round of matches.”
