Widnes forward Harrison Hansen will join Toulouse for the 2020 season.

The 33-year-old has made over 400 career appearances for Wigan, Salford, Leigh and Widnes. He has also earned seven international caps – one for New Zealand and six for Samoa.

Hansen said: “My family and I are excited about living in Toulouse.

“I can’t wait to get here and start working with Sylvain [Houles, coach] and the boys.

“Among the offers I had, I wanted to seize the opportunity offered by Toulouse to bring my experience to the collective.

“The team plays a very nice brand of rugby and I am very happy to join.”

Toulouse chairman Bernard Sarrazain added: “Harrison’s stature can only help us to progress.

“He is a player who is used to performing and taking the team with him. We are very happy to welcome him here.”
