Lebanon international winger Abbas Miski will make his Wigan debut when they face a Toulouse side also featuring a new signing on Saturday.

The 26-year-old joined Wigan on a three-year deal in the off-season after a standout year in the Championship with London Broncos. He scored 18 tries in as many appearances for the capital club.

Miski scored a hat-trick for Wigan’s reserves this weekend and will make his first team debut in Toulouse on Saturday.

Wigan coach Matt Peet said: “He deserves it. He’s been flawless since he came into the club and only missed out because lads in front have had credit in the bank. This is a shot that he’s earned.”

Warriors coach Matt Peet also confirmed that prop Ethan Havard and full-back Bevan French have made the trip to France to enable them to train with the squad as both players eye a return to action in the coming week.
