Lebanon international winger Abbas Miski will make his Wigan debut when they face a Toulouse side also featuring a new signing on Saturday.
The 26-year-old joined Wigan on a three-year deal in the off-season after a standout year in the Championship with London Broncos. He scored 18 tries in as many appearances for the capital club.
Miski scored a hat-trick for Wigan’s reserves this weekend and will make his first team debut in Toulouse on Saturday.
Wigan coach Matt Peet said: “He deserves it. He’s been flawless since he came into the club and only missed out because lads in front have had credit in the bank. This is a shot that he’s earned.”
Warriors coach Matt Peet also confirmed that prop Ethan Havard and full-back Bevan French have made the trip to France to enable them to train with the squad as both players eye a return to action in the coming week.
Sylvain Houles’ side are still without Harrison Hansen, Latrell Schaumkel, Dom Peyroux, Mathieu Jussaume and James Cunningham due to injury. Joseph Paulo will serve the second of his two-match suspension.
Toulouse: Marcon, Albert, Navarrete, White, Dixon, Marion, Pelissier, Puech, Bretherton, Garbutt, Bergal, Hankinson, Springer, Sangare, Armitage, Russell, Pezet, Ashall-Bott, Stefani, Gigot, Robson.
Wigan: Bibby, Hardaker, Marshall, Cust, Leuluai, Singleton, Powell, Mago, Isa, Farrell, Bateman, Smithies, Ellis, Smith, Partington, Byrne, Pearce-Paul, Shorrocks, Field, Miski, O’Neill.
