Super League stats: Josh Charnley joint-top try scorer following new record

Josh Charnley scored his fifth and sixth tries of the season against Toulouse – and is now the third highest Super League try scorer.

The Warrington winger crossed for his 200th Super League try in his side’s 32-18 victory in France.

He sits joint-top of the 2022 try scorers alongside Salford winger Ken Sio.

Over the weekend, Sio became the first player to score a try in seven consecutive games for Salford since 2008.

Stefan Ratchford was the last player to accomplish the impressive record.

Jai Field, Chris McQueen and Tom Johnstone have all crossed for four tries so far in 2022.

Jake Connor enjoyed six assists in Hull’s victory over Salford, while also crossing for a try himself. He is now joint-top alongside Huddersfield’s Tui Lolohea for assists.

Wigan’s Cade Cust had another try assist in his side’s victory over the Giants, taking his tally to six for the season.

St Helens full-back Jack Welsby made two assists in the win over Wakefield at the Totally Wicked Stadium. He now has five for the year.

Brodie Croft, Stefan Ratchford and Tony Gigot all with four.

Derrell Olpherts leads the way in carries so far in 2022. He sits at the top with 58 carries, while Field is next best with 51.

Field also has the most metres so far this season with 511. Johnstone next best with 497, with Warrington’s Matty Ashton in third with 466.

The hookers lead the way in tackles. Sam Powell at the top with 135, Paul McShane second with 132 and Andy Ackers third with 125.

Marc Sneyd leads the way from the boot with 14 successful conversions. Ratchford next best with 12.

In total, Josh Charnley has made 31 carries with 175 metres and has made four clean breaks.
